In the Mood for Spring
Can you smell the flowers blooming? Feel the sun on your skin? Spring is here and we are very much in the mood for rooftop cocktail sipping and outdoor events (socially distanced of course).
Follow along as we share our mood board and explain what has inspired our SS21 Collection - it's almost here.
1. Charmeuse silk in mushroom - A huge part of the fabric involved in the SS21 Collection centers on textures that mimic elements found in Baja California. This silk was used heavily throughout the line and feels like water rolling over your skin.
2. vajze thana bracelet - The jewelry featured in our SS21 photo shoot included gold pieces from vajze, a women-owned, Detroit based jewelry company. Each piece was thoughtfully chosen and styled with garments that matched the voice/ vibe of the jewelry.
3. Seashell from Mexico - While vacationing in 2019 in Los Cabos, materials were gathered to inspire the spring collection. Loving the colors and shape of this shell.
4. Black and white athletic trim - A signature KF look is to add a little sportiness to our feminine pieces. Always feeling inspiration from our athletic days.
5. Floral safari wallpaper - Interiors influence us everyday and wallpaper is no exception. This beautiful floral print on a black background gives us all the feels. We love interiors so much... we might even dip our toes in that space soon.
6. SS21 color palette - Neutrals feel clean and modern this season. Accentuating those pieces with bright bouquets and earth tones just feels right.
7. Dream bungalow - Every mood board needs a few aspirational items and this bungalow is ours for 2021. This little retreat seems like perfect place to recharge and dream of our next collection.
